Peelback reads food labels from photos and uses AI to explain ingredients, grade products, and surface related research. It is provided free of charge, for personal, informational use.
2. Not professional advice
Grades, scores, and summaries are AI-generated guidance only. They are not medical, nutritional, dietary, or health advice. Always consult a qualified professional for decisions about your diet or health, and never rely on Peelback for allergy or intolerance information.
3. Accuracy
AI can misread labels and can be wrong. Always check the actual product packaging — including the official ingredient and allergen statements — before relying on any result. Peelback makes no guarantee that analysis is complete or correct.
4. Acceptable use
Use Peelback lawfully and as intended. Don’t attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse- engineer, or misuse the service or the systems it depends on.
5. Third-party services
Peelback’s analysis is powered by Hack Club AI, and research papers come from Europe PMC. Your use of Peelback is also subject to the terms and policies of Hack Club AI. We are not responsible for those third-party services.
6. No warranty
Peelback is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developers are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service.
7. Changes
These terms may change over time. Continued use of Peelback after an update means you accept the revised terms.
